The colors are great i like the color scheme alot. The banner is good but simple looking for a graphic forum. Most like to show off what they can do in there banners. The head and base images are nice and give a good effect to the overall feel.I like the the background too.Teh cell highlight is a good touch so ae the title and cat bars. Great look and good luck 8/10

Layout(graphics)the graphics are pretty good... but kidna average if you ask me. one thing that turned me off right away is that you can see the white on the end of the gradient, meaning you can tell the graphic is square, which would look better if you made that part transpartent. i agreea bout the banenr being plain as well. but at least you tried score: 7/10 customizationnot much to say here because most of the codes i would suggest for your forum, you have used. one thing i would suggest, is fixing the alignment of the top gradient on the affilates scroller. score: 7/10 staff/membershmm.... 2 members, one of them being named "test".... not much to say lol score: 0/10 other comments/overalli can't really think of much to say besides improve on the gradients by making the ends transparent, make a better banner, fix the top gradient on the affilates scroler, and thats it. good luck with your forum score: 7/10

Ok, wow thanks everyone for getting back so quickly with rates, and with good rates as well. I'll get onto improving it with your suggestions now!
I didn't think it was noticeable with the white bits on the side of the head/base banners. I would put a transparent image there, but 1) I don't know how to and 2) I've heard that it makes the image quality decrease. Any help would be appreciated. I'm also not sure for the reason that the head image on my affiliates banner isn't joined, but I should work that out myself, thanks!
*UPDATE- I've tried transparent gif's and png's but neither work. It just has black where it should be transparent. I still need help!

hmm... i don't have any experience with the gimp... but when you make your images, make sure you start off with a transparent background and when oyur saving it, make sure you have transparence cheaked off if theres an option for it.

you should know transparent from something called science class.... unless your young internet translation: basically its where if there is any white on an image, it becomes seethrough so you can see the background behind it school translation: something that alows light to travel through
