Boards/Categories:Personally, I think you have far too many. Taking a look at them, some of them are inactive.
I would...
- Change the idea of the board.
- Improve the board to keep it fresh and interesting.
- Move some boards into others as sub-boards
- Possibly delete some, unless the board was vital.
Find similarities between some of the boards and think about merging them.
The amount of boards looks messy and demotes the general look of your forum.
However, I have to applaud you for keeping many of them fairly active.

Graphics- The banner I think is very ordinary and nothing special. I dislike the font used. Perhaps re-make the image with the text in the left hand side of the image or in the centre.
- The on/off icons are also very basic. I know that they are icons used in the games, but to me, they are

In the spotlight really looks out of place. For one thing, it is far too big, and for another, it is the only board to have an image in its description. Really doesnt fit.
- I like the flashing images used in some of the gradients, though I think the skin has to be altered for them to work completely.

Skin:- Right, yellow and purple work well together, though it takes a good designer to achieve this. Yellow and purple
can look awful together as they are so contrasting. I like the purple colour you have used but I dislike the yellow. I agree with not making it too bright, but it needs to be a little brighter.
- Alternatively, you could forget the yellow and use the orange. Still not the best colour combination but it isnt entirely diabolical.
- The background is okay. It is tiled and it doesnt fit, but it doesnt notice too much, you got away with it.
- The board highlight colour does not work. It is far too bright and doesnt fit in with any other colours used on your forum. Often, the board highlight colour is the same as the window one colour. Just try the same white.
- The grey window two colour goes well with the blue colour of the board titles.
- To be honest, I am not going to comment on making some custom buttons, as I am not sure how they could benefit your forum unless you make some of these suggested changes. This also goes for any gradients... not sure about using them.
