Hi,

Our board is a Pet and Animal forum mostly, with a lot of Chat on almost anything.

We have almost 14,000 posts and almost 300 members. Of course most of them do not post regularly. We are a mature board without nastiness amd trolling, and we try to keep it friendly and informative - and fun.

We are particularly expert in all varieties of small pet rodents from gerbils to hamsters and much more.

Boards/Categories/Content:
- Too many boards in my opinion, some of them are going very inactive. Try merging two or three of them together, moving others into sub-boards, updating some of the boards to keep them fresh and interesting or even consider deleting some of them.
- Having only one category can work in some cases, especially when there a small amount of boards. However, in this case, it doesnt work. Think about categorising your boards.

Graphics
- I dislike the banner. It is too small and the yellow text colour does nothing for me.
- I love the on and off icons, very cute, very topical.
- We need some custom buttons, the text menu buttons do not really compliment the forum very well.

- There are a total of... 0 codes on your forum. Think about experimenting with some.
- Try a forum re-size width code that can be found in the coding index at ProBoards Support.

Skin:
- I like the colour scheme - generally. The colours aren't too bright and many of them blend and contrast well with others.
- The news fader title background colour and the category background colour need to be the same. I would go with the darker purple of the two you have used.

Any additional information:
The news fader. I like the quote that you use in the fader, but I dont think the fader is necessary considering you only have one line cycling round. Find another way to include it on the homepage, possibly in a table - again, ProBoards Support is a good source.

Overall:
Not a bad forum, it definitely has potential. Good luck with it. Make these changes, and some other doors may open up such as possible gradient use etc.
I have not given you the full links to the table and re-size forum code because I would like you to find them out for yourself, and you will hopefully find and learn a few other things on the way. Look around, it is a goldmind for graphics and coding.
