First off, I would just like to thank the craters of this forum for giving an opportunity for new comers to post requests for board help with no required post count. Regardless of whether or not this works, I greatly appreciate the opportunity as it is forbidden on most forums making it extremely difficult to get help.
I am in need of:
Administrator (Full):
The requirements for an administrator are as follows. He/she must have some kind of background knowledge and interest on the subject matter, but need not be a veteran of the field.
Objectivity is key. Whether one is a skeptic or believer is irrelevant, as long as an open mind is kept at all times and no possibility is discounted out of ignorance nor promoted without valid supporting evidence.
An administrator must also be somewhat knowledgeable in running a forum. Although not mandatory, it is preferred that he/she know a thing or two about modifying skins and layouts (I am currently considering layout modification, however, don't have the time or necessary knowledge to remodel myself).
I do not require specific watch hours, however, I would prefer him/her to be available at least once a day to at least watch over things and be sure that things are running as smoothly as possible. I am rather lenient with time restrictions.
Moderators (1-3):
The requirements for moderators are nearly identical to administrative requirements, however, the skin and layout preference need not apply. No previous moderating experience is required.
Promoters (0-3):
Because of my lack of available time, energy and knowledge in forum running, I have struggled greatly to get the forum up and running. A forum community is nothing without community interaction. Although I do not absolutely need a promoter, it would be of great help. I have struggled to recruit willingly active members.
If you are reading this now and have at least considered applying for any of these positions -- whether you consider the job right for you, or not -- I thank you for your time.
