The Sacrifice is a unrealistic dog roleplay. This doesn't mean we don't roleplay normal strays(which we will, once the site is on it's feet), it's just we roleplay more into the strange types. We roleplay demon as well as morphing dogs.
Along with great members, TS has very friendly staff. We're easy to talk to, and unlike most staff at other sites, we actually interact with our members.
»War of the Worlds; Plot«
I edged across the dark alley, unsure of what lied ahead of my own paws. The moon hid behind dark, heavy sheets of cloud. Not one human or rat seemed to wander the streets that night. I shivered at the thought of where they had disappeared. Without a sound, I rounded the corner. I tensed as I saw a pair of feet before me. I looked up into the eyes of a large man. I knew what was to await me.
It was so many years ago when the experiments began. It was a time when science was most important; a time when we had lost all traces of our humanity. Animals of all sorts were captured, the majority of experiments performed on the canines. We wanted to create a master race of animals, with everyones reasons differing. Some wanted larger pets, others wanted more food and others just wanted to fool around, but no one wanted what was to come...
I shriveled in fear as masked people, at least six, gathered around me to hold me down. One of the taller men pulled a needle full of liquid from his blood-covered white lab coat. I let out a yowl, jerking and kicking to try to escape the grasp of those hands. But my attempts fell short as I departed into unconsciousness. I wouldn't wake up the same¡¦
We had created something no one thought possible. These creatures we once called animals changed before our very eyes. No one knew what to expect when they looked into the cages next. It was soon that no one dared to feed the mongrels, afraid to dare look into those hypnotizing eyes. These dogs were like demons, and our torturing only made them angry.
I barked furiously at the gates of this cell along side the bodies of both the dead and living. I didn't feel like myself anymore. All I wanted, all I felt was blood and rage. I could smell the hot blood flowing through the veins of the masked people, the only thing holding me back was the metal bars that imprisoned us. When one of our own had fallen, we feasted on their remains. I licked over my chewed lips at the sudden smell of approaching humans. Something was about to happen.
We had no other choice. The animals had become a serious threat. There was no way the jail cells could hold them any longer. One by one, we killed them off with an illegal substance called DDT. The government had banned it because of the harm it did to large creatures, when it's only purpose was to kill bugs. It seemed to work, and after it was clear they were dead, we would drag their bodies into a pit in the back. We avoided the dogs until we felt strongest.
I sat and stared as a single scientist opened the door, not daring to glance our way. He was smart... but not smart enough. Without hesitation, the dogs around me brushed past, galloping towards him like horses. I got to my paws as the last of the dogs ran past. I narrowed my eyes in a smirk as the screams of scientists reached my awaiting ears. It was time that the hell hounds got payback.
There was nothing we could do but scream and cry. The dogs had gotten loose, and in their anger, they attacked us. Blood layered the floors and streaked the windows. Anyone caught by one of the 'hell hounds' was dead within moments. They torn the skin straight from our figures, and ate our insides until we bled dry. No one could escape, and any cries for help were muffled by the sounds of the factory working. As they ran through a broken-down door, they left behind dozens of corpses. The hell hounds were loose in the city, and they couldn't be stopped. They fed on any living thing, and didn't stop. An evacuation was ordered by the police, and soon Coal Creek had gone to the dogs...
But the Packs aren't as alone as they thought. Allegiances are making their stand in Coal Creek, and they aren't about to back down. Both need territory, but who will take it? Mean while, the entire human world is coming to World War Three. Bombing, shooting, and killing everywhere, little by little parts of Coal Creek are going up in smoke.
With their bombs and their guns,
With their teeth and their claws,
Coal Creek will never be the same...
