In 2010 as the worlds nations were watching each other for terror attacks or economical downfalls, a brilliant astrophysics named Alexander Uglus was watching the sun. It was this star at this time that was doing the weird things solar flares were running wild in its atmosphere and sun spots where everywhere. Alexander was worrying that this could be the death of their star. But it was at the climax of the show that the amazing thing happened. A huge solar flare hit earth and disrupting all technology on earth for a few hours. This was not the only thing it did. In the Australian Outback something was found and Alexander was rushed off their with his colleagues immediately.

What Alexander found their was a tear in the fabric of time, a large tear. He and a group of men from the Australian SAS went through to investigate and returned a day later with samples galore. After a few weeks of analysis they found the plant samples to be from the Cretaceous Period. As the new ITA (International Timeline Association) was formed and now under control of the project, they began building a cap for the door as it had begun to be known. Alexander theorized that the Dragons and monsters of old times may not of been execrations as once thought but gates like this were the ancient people had mistaken the creatures as monsters. Many people believed this. That was when in 2011 Alexander had won approval from the UN and the ITA to recruit a team and build a base of research on the other side after returning the previous time. The UN did however put on condition after hearing from noted Palaeontologist Dr Thomas Walker of the dangers in the Cretaceous Period, that his team would be accompanied by a team of UN soldiers and their equipment. Alexander agreed and set the date for September 2011. But in August the man was involved in a serious car crash and was killed by what police had said was a fanatic group against his plans for the ’Dino World’. This was a sad blow but luckily another Palaeontologist working for the ITA named Jake Hewitt stepped up to fill his shoes and take over as head for the Expedition.

It is now September the 28th and the expedition is ready to go into the unknown. After their goodbyes they all step through to their new home. The Old abandoned base in the Northern Territory set up as the people of New Eden left. But once on the other side they found that things had changed since Uglus had gone through, there wasn’t the friendly creatures they were expecting there. No now with no communication with New Eden and it too dangerous to go back the team is stuck on their course in to the jaws of the unknown. Now they all must survive long enough for the ITA to send their relief.
